jason (mazda3) had (3) 12" pioneers in a custom box he made in his standard cab with a 1000W amp and that thing hit pretty damn good.. i bought it from him and have yet to put it in, im waiting until i get a really good amp and when i swap out my bench for some cavy buckets..

my buddy had 4 JL 10w0's in a ported truck box, one behind each seat (buckets) then in between the seats had 2 cone in magnet out, shit was nearly as loud as my old 12w3v1's on a rockford punch 301s and big ported box. I forgot......he had one of the new punch amps on em, it was quite impressive and not to space consuming

yeah ... that trucks sic but theres alot of money in that setup , you can get 1 12 in a ported box to beat in a standard cab .

I have a perfect 12 where the jack goes. It sounds alright.

i have one 12 (w/ 600 watts) in the middle of the cab wall in a box i made, it sounds alright as long as its not turned way up, because i cut the box wayyyyyy too narrow so its too small and its a walmart sub. i also have cavalier buckets so there is a little more room in between the seats in the back but it also fit fine with the stock bench. the only trick is making the box narrow and angled if you suck and dont have patience working with wood.

Only $55.00 and they come with a 3 year warranty, and are only 3" deep.

i think i might do some premier shallow mounts. 2 12's for now. somone told me i can fit 6 behind my seats with only moving it up a notch or 2 forward. ide probly hit hard as shit

I like those ED's, I may have to try them out when I redo the system again.

I would go for 10's in the shallow mount versions. Probally do 3 and an amp behind the seats and lose no clicks.

This is a blow thru:

The box is built into the bed. The cab is cut and the sound passes threw.

my bad, that would be considered a ported bed wouldnt it? and after a closer look that might not go into his bed, but i dont think they would have enough airspace in that little box behind the seat!

the truck with 12 8s does not go to the bed. im not sure if it is ported or not, but ive seen a vid of it and its sick with all the subs vibrating together.

no, he's got the airspace he needs for them..and he meters well with it. I think somewhere around 148-149 db with a 1600 watt MTX amp. Not bad for a reg cab and no blowthrough
