tire size will i lay?

a friend of mine is giving me his rims

there KMC Stealth 18x8

they have 245/40/18's will i lay in the front with inner fenders?

i have 205/55/15 = 23.8" tall (approx.)
these just barely rub when layed.

a 225/40/18 = 25" tall (approx.)
so those are too big

you would need like a 205/35/18 (= 23.6" tall), or smaller, but they would probly ride like crap and/or bend rims easy do to the lack of sidewall.
