Just wondering what pressures yall ride at, to get an idea.
As it sits im only front bagged, with Slam RE-7s
As low as i can ride on smooth roads: around 40 PSI, any lower it drags.
Front maxes out at about 60 PSI. (seem right?)
So anyway post what your pressures are!

I can go to 55... but over dips in the road I drag
I usually sit at 65-70 in the front, 30-40 in the back
Although lately I've been doing 65/65

I ride at like 80psi in the front and like 75 in the back right now but soon to be about 20 -30 psi lower.
and in the front I get get to 190psi before the upper arms hit the stops and about 165psi in the back before the shocks top out.

I only have shocks in the back, none in the front right now, eventually I will though.
Up front ,(no shocks) like 60, or 80, or 120. Out back (Has shocks) 0, or 5.
It does drag a lot tho. With the 60 I can take up reflectors with my front cross mimber.

I have RE-7s and I could fill them up to 200psi if my shocks and UCAs would permitt it.

i meant that full lift for me happens at 60 psi, and that i have re7s.

I dont have shocks in the front (planning to in the future) and my ball joints are bad, so I ride at 80+ so they dont "clank".
I used to ride at about 50, it all depends on the size of your tires what pressure you should ride at I think.

I can turn my 245/70/16 front tires fully in both directions at 0psi, laying frame..

I guess... but I was thinking that with your stock tires you would be able to clear the tires at a much lower psi.
Did you do the work yourself or have a shop do it?
Because I need some advice and help when I do a few more things for mine. =)

Awesome. Well I'm looking to body drop my truck in the future. Which way did you body drop it?
I was looking into channeling mine to keep leg room and not have to chop the frame up too much.

I seem to run a little high, but that's because I hate getting stuck on shit - draggin's fun, but getting stuck in speed bumps isn't. I run about 90 in the front and 60-70 in the back.

BodyRoadSparks
05-31-2007, 11:23 PM
i ride at 80 to 90 psi, 90 clears the tire.... rides awsome... in the back i have firestone now but will end up moving the re-8's to the back and putting re-7's in front. re-8's up front are just unecassary.

Bouncing around is a bad thing. You have less control of your ride if it is bouncing too much. And why would you do something that is intentionally shorting the life of your suspension components? I mean draggin' is cool - you can just plate up what you drag through or put some plate/blocks on to preserve your frame. But just fucking up your ball joints by locking them up is just stupid.

yep...when my friend Shane (flnole78) brought it up, Ryan was one of the other couple guys who checked out all the dimensions and such and did it...its nice bc they dont swell out like airlifts

just put re7s on the front of my hombre and rideheight for it is around 60. locks out control arms at 90. rear just has 2600s over axle, so normal is around 20
and btw if you're dragging at 40 and maxing at 60, you need to check over some things. that doesnt sound right at all
Bucket@AD
06-15-2007, 11:19 AM
currently 30 in the rear RE8's
60 in the front RE7's.
Once I get the bed repositioned my rear will be lower :D
Yea the re8's would be down the road for me.

ya, i checked everything out, it all seems ok. i get enough lift, its locking out where it should, it lays, idk. im thinking maybe its just cause its light with it being a 4-banger std. cab? :dunno:

DustT31
