Man, this is a wierd problem. I just put some slam specialties RE-6's in the front of my 2000 ranger (w/ DJM control arms). When I air it up, it doesn't air up as high on the driver side. It also takes at least 120 psi to get it up anywhere. I pushed up on the truck on the driver side when I aired it up to 140 psi and it went to the same height as the passenger side, where I expected it to be at. I looked under the truck when it wasn't airing up right both bags aren't airing up in an even manner, they look tilted, but not in the direction you would expect. The airlift ones didn't give me this problem. Any suggestion?
I'm probably going to put the airlift ones back in until I can get some answers.
Frist off is it a 2 valve set up? Also Why re 6? The air lifts would lift it much higher I would think.
The high psi is do to the small bag.
Un even air up Would be do the the 2 valve set up(If thats what you have.)

Mine has a lean to the left even with 4 valves when i air up, but only slightly, cause of uneven weight with the gas tank and me on the driver side. I just tap the Passenger side down a little. Its a Gangster Lean, dont worry about it! Your gangsta if you run slams, lol... na, but how much of a lean you got?

I have the same problem and no solution :(
Was thinking about going digital with my air management when I have the funds... there's something I saw that sets the truck even, regardless of the weight or PSI in the bags.

They have that, but digital isn't as accurate... Wait you are already using digital gauges right?
I've heard that they can be upwards of 15psi off. =/
Even though that fact I am eventually swapping all my gauges to digital to decrease the amount of gauges I have lol.

i would think a sway bar could keep it more level. your sides shouldnt be effected much.
if any one with an S-series needs any sway bars, i have a couple for sale in classifieds

I have a sway bar in my truck and I can still hit sides fine.... Actually a little too much because if I hit one too extreme I crush one side of my bumper.
Dunno if it's different on s-series trucks..

i have a buddy who doesnt run shocks on front, and says his sway bar (ZQ8) makes it ride nicer like it has shocks.

Sounds like how I am right now, slam re-7s, no shocks and sway bar...
But I will eventually install my shocks. All I have to do is weld the upper tab and install the shocks, I have it all and my lower control arms have the shock mounts already (ART ARMS).

I have re7s and no swaybar and I dont have any problems :dunno:
Its a little uneven but nothing really noticeable, I'll probably be doing shocks in the front when I do the rebuild though.

I found out that this does happen occasionally - at least in Rangers exactly like mine. I just ordered some RE-7's. That is supposed to help with the problem, or at least let me run at some lower pressures.

yeah RE6 and RE7 should let you ride at lower PSI that airlifts...they dont swell out like 2B6 and 2B7

I just finished getting my RE-7's in. I had to grind a shit load of metal out and had some issues running the lines again, but got it done at 9 tonight. Man, those bags are a big improvement. At 100 psi, it's almost as high as my brother edge! Rode around at like 70 psi and felt like I was too high. Definately glad I put the time in to put those new ones in.
