They come factory with DIN and a half.
RRRyan (coinslot), cut the divider between the HVAC controls and moved it down and relocated the mounts for the HVAC controls.
Some ABS peices were CA'd to take up some of the space left between the new HU and the bezel.
Here are a couple test fit shots before the work get underway........

Then I use some Evercoat MAXIM urethane to blend the parts all together.............(yep, thats me working)............

Some smoothing out and some color match and texture, you end up with a stock looking part.
In these pics, the clear coat needs to be dulled down so it will be scuffed and recleared with a satin finish. But other than it being slightly too shiney, it looks **** nice.......

looks like a carputer, nice. what front end you using? road runner? Im running street deck on mine, its nice for mp3's but the navigation maps are like 6 yers old :thumbdown:

i dont know if that is a kenwood thing, but i have a pioneer d3, how do you get the corvette logo in the background?

Jose check out Avic411.com
1 - Create PICTURES folder on your desktop
2 - Put the background images you want to use in that folder (15 or 16 pics max)
3 - Put a filler file in the folder to get it up over 1.8 megabytes. You can use a really large picture file, or maybe a word processor document or something
4 - Burn the folder to a CD. You need to use data disk mode.

i know im digging up an old thread, but my uncle is wanting to get my aunt a new unit for christmas and likes the double din....how much would you charge to do this...its an 03 so it would pretty much be the same!
